TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMMES

To improve the quality of teaching, we funded three training programmes for 100 teachers each, running in Bamiyan and Yakawlang. The trainees came from villages around the two urban centres and were hosted by Shuhada Organisation. By completing this training, the teachers obtained the certificate of 14th grade education. In recent years training programmes have been taken over by the Government and we have discontinued them.

Here Maria Rosario (first on the right) is among the six teachers of the Sar e  Qul school, who successfully attended one of the Teacher Training Courses funded by Arghosha Faraway Schools.
